iNetGiant Is Always On Lookout To Prevent Online Classifieds Scams

Everyone knows that there are scams on online classifieds sites.  Because we receive thousands of ads on a daily basis from all over the Internet, we are in a very good  position to see trends and analyze information about scams before they hit our site.  Recently, we’ve seen a dramatic increase in the number of online classifieds scams.

So we are now on a path to improve the buying experience around classifieds,  since  we  take fraud, scams, and issues relating to personal safety very seriously. We are working on automated fraud technology for scanning though online classifieds. Also in the works  a whole section on our site that will be dedicated to online classifieds scams and fraud. This section will include Safety Tips for online classifieds, dwelling through them you will be armed with good knowledge on how to avoid almost every scam and fraud that takes place on iNetGiant online classifieds.

To help promote the new Safety section and to get the word out to as many people as possible about how to avoid scams, we will have a link to it on every page within our site and on every email communication.

What do you think can be done more to prevent scam and fraud on online classifieds and particularly iNetGiant. We are waiting for your suggestions.

  1. Great post! I have been looking around for some legitimate place to place an ad. I did come across inetgiant and was wondering if they are a good company. Its good to see that they are looking out for online scams.

There are so many scams out there. But there are also true products out there. Its too bad that since there are so many scams out there that it makes everyone skeptical about everything. The scams put a cloud over the real products and truthfully its hard to find that real product.

Maybe there needs to be more of a screening process when placing ads. Maybe these classified ad companies need to screen people before the ads are placed. Screening by actually calling them and verifying the product. It may take a lot of work, but maybe it would reduce the number of scams out there.

There will always be scams, but maybe we can reduce them one at a time so that the real products can shine.
