Employment Classifieds Advertising

If you have not received the response you were hoping for with your employment classifieds ad, you may need to rework your ad’s copy. With so many people looking for jobs it seems like every employment ad would bring a great response, but this is not always the case. If you have a position you need to fill but your employment classified ad is not getting a good response, you may need to make some changes. The good news is that employment ads are by far the most popular type of ad in the classifieds and if your ad is written properly you will get the response you are looking for.

Most employers give a salary range and list what health and savings benefits are included with the job, but these are pretty standard ad inclusions and may not draw the response you want. Be sure to list the other benefits of your job positions as well including things like travel, onsite childcare or credits, company gym or car. These other benefits may be what a person needs to want to apply.

Sometimes a person with less or different qualifications than the ones you listed would be a great match for your job. When you list strict qualification guidelines many people atomically rule themselves out when in reality they would be great for the job. If you relax or expand your qualifications you may get a larger response.

Email is the most popular way for businesses to communicate nowadays, but it should not be the only way you give potential employees to get in touch with you. Including more than one way such as phone, email, in person, and fax will expand the potential employee pool. Be sure to include your phone number, fax number, email address, and physical address so recruits have more than one way to get in touch with you. Choose the classified you use carefully and make sue you use a popular one such as InetGiant for the best results.
